Shishamosoft is a Japan-based importer. We partner with independent overseas makers and launch their products in Japan through Makuake, the country's largest crowdfunding platform, then continue selling them through regular retail channels.

How we work with makers
Introduction. We get in touch, learn about your product and request a sample.
Agreement. We agree on pricing, quantities and an exclusive distribution period for Japan.
Launch. We handle Japanese-language marketing, the Makuake campaign page, photography, and customer support.
Order. After the campaign, we place a bulk order based on actual backer demand.
Import and fulfillment. We take care of customs clearance, Japanese labeling and delivery to backers.
Makers don't need to speak Japanese or deal with Japanese regulations, payment or logistics. We do that part.
Why Makuake
Japanese customers support new products on Makuake before they hit stores. A campaign validates demand in Japan, and the bulk order is placed only after the campaign closes, which keeps risk low on both sides.
